Empowering First Responders with Tactical Communication & Mental Health Training
I am honored and privileged to collaborate with exceptional organizations and professionals dedicated to saving lives and creating safer communities.
At John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY), I provide specialized training for the NYPD Hostage Negotiation Teams (HNT), Emergency Service Unit (ESU), and the Port Authority Police Department. My role focuses on equipping these teams with essential negotiation skills and psychological insights to de-escalate critical incidents effectively.
I extend my expertise to a broader range of first responders through my partnership with Medicine in Bad Places. This collaboration emphasizes training on negotiation techniques tailored for situations involving mental illness, ensuring that responders can adjust their approach to meet the unique needs of these individuals.
Combining mental health awareness with tactical communication empowers first responders to de-escalate and resolve crises with compassion and understanding.
If I can help officers navigate critical incidents, I am confident I can empower teams and individuals in any field to communicate and connect more effectively.
